»»»»»»»» The River by Noel Gourdin played on The Steve Harvey Morning Show!
Congratulations, Noel Gourdin…
I awoke to see my stats for this site going up and up and up.
Finally someone commented that they played The River on The Steve Harvey Morning Show this morning.
The River by Noel Gourdin is blowing up!
Okay, so I just jumped that Noel Gourdin has officially made Google’s Hot Trends list today.
That’s awesome.
Just when I thought I may have been a little kooky for immediately starting a Noel Gourdin fansite after the first time I heard “The River” riding home from Chicago to Ohio last summer with my husband, Christ the Lord has once again proven Himself to know more than I do.
Now the world can be exposed to that beautiful song.
Where’s Noel Gourdin’s CD?
I still only see an import version of the CD that’s not available anywhere yet — only The River MP3 download for sale.
But now that Noel Gourdin is positively blowing up across the globe, I know Sony will be pouring more money into making and promoting it.
At least I pray that if it’s Hill will, it will.
(Minus that one song you know I’m talking about…)
When you’re ready for an interview, Noel
If you haven’t deleted the email with my cellie number, hold on to it if you ever feel led to give me an interview.
Either way, bless you for the MySpace comment and keep looking at that cross when life gets rough.
I’m so happy for you!

I would like to give you kuddos. I am a listen of the steve harvey show and yes he was giving “The River” great reviews. I, myself loved it and see great things for you. Finally and young man that does not rap about drugs, hoes, and death. Allow yourself to grow only in the spirit of life, love, and God.
Warm Regards

When I heard Noel’s song “The River” on the Steve Harvey Show( The first national radio show to play his song) I was on my way to work. Prior to him playing his song, my mind worried about the stresses that await the day ahead. I heard the melody turned up the volume and started jamming. Listening to and beginning to relate to tthe song..my eyes filled with tears. That song is so beautiful. Noel you are awesome and I would like to thank you for giving me hope.Stay blessed and keep holding on to God!

Noel,
Truly an amazing gift you had. I heard your song on satellite radio a few months ago and they didn’t say who you were. Finally heard it again the Steve Harvey Morning Show and it made me think of my husband, who’s from the South and how much he loves going back home. It also made me think of all he and I have been through and how strong our love is … still!
Thanks for bringing back the art of writing pretty love songs.

I think the song “The River” is awesome.. I was a bit suprised about your age, and singing a song like that. You are great and much thanks to a young man like yourself singing music like old school. I love you and much success to you.. I’m so glad Steve Harvey played your song.

I heard the river first on the steve harvey radio show.I didn’t hear at that time who he said was singing the song. So I listen each morning untill I heard it again and once again I miss who was singing the song. Then finally this morning I heard who the artist was.Now my only question is where can I find the song at. The music store I went to said they had no idea what song I was talking about?

I heard “The River” played on 105.3. It had a nice sound to it but I did not know who it was by. So I listened to the radio everyday until I heard it but I still missed the artist. The one day I was listening to 105.3 in my office and it came on again. It was then that I learned the artist. I immediately typed his name in and his myspace page came up. I put my work to the side and read his bio while I listened to the song over and over again. It has consumed me. This beautiful faced young man has been blessed by God with a melodious voice and a brilliant head on his shoulders. “The River” is a captivating song, especially if you know the lyrics. I do. I just can’t get enough of this song. Noel, may God continue to richly bless you as you continue to make your mark on this society with your music. I support you 100%. Be blessed.
